It becomes the tool you use in the conversation to maintain control, but also to make sure the person on the other end knows it is about them. When people embrace this acknowledgment, they become in the moment in the conversation. LISTEN, DEBRIEF, REFLECT, and UNDERSTAND - It is the only way to be successful in it.
