Today I got to talk with Mike Major, Physiotherapist and Found of ClinicDash. Mike discusses his background in the military and leadership training, which instilled in him the importance of communication and teamwork. He also talks about his experience working for a national company and managing multiple clinics, which ultimately led him to realize the misalignment between his values and the prevailing model of seeing multiple clients per hour.
Determined to create a clinic that prioritizes patient care and provides a great experience, Mike embarked on a journey of financial modeling and patient-centric design. He mapped out the patient experience, identified leading indicators, and developed spreadsheets to measure and track progress. Over time, these spreadsheets evolved into ClinicDash, a software that encompasses the entire patient experience and provides valuable data and insights. Through his story, Mike emphasizes the importance of aligning business models with values, focusing on the patient experience, and utilizing data-driven metrics for sustainable growth.
